Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for a Stores Assistant to work at their facility in Stoke on Trent.

For the successful Stores Assistant our client is offering;

• Starting pay rate of £13.87 - £14.47 which will depend on experience
• Monday to Friday 7:30am - 5pm with a 12:30pm finish on Fridays
• Temporary to Permanent role
• Free Parking and accessible via Public Transport

• Bonus paid at Christmas depending on company performance
• Extra days annual leave at 5 years service
• 2 days extra annual leave at 10 years service

The Role of the Stores Assistant will include:

• Loading and unloading of products
• Receive, inspect and receipt of inbound goods
• Ensuring deliveries are checked against delivery notes
• Carry out stock checks
• Liaise with departments internally regarding stock availability
• Storing of products into the correct locations
• Maintaining a clean working environment
• Working on & off the Forklift
• This role involves quite a lot of Manual Handling
• Following health & safety guidelines

What our client is looking for in a Stores Assistant:

• FLT Counterbalance license - ESSENTIAL
• Flexible working attitude - You'll be working in a small Warehouse team so everyone must be happy performing a range of duties
• This role involves quite a lot of Manual Handling
• Previous Stores based experience
• You MUST be able to Pass a DRUGS test prior to starting
