Fire & Security Engineer

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Building Services Business in their search for a Fire & Security Engineer to work in the London & Southern Surrounding Region, their central head offices based in Nottingham.

The successful applicant will ideally have previous experience working as Fire & Security Service Engineer

For the successful Fire & Security Engineer our client is offering:

• up to £45,000 p/annum
• 38 Hours Per Week (Overtime Available, up to 43 hours Standard Rate, 43 Hours + time & a half)
• Flexitime between the hours of 6am - 8pm – paid door to door

The role of - Fire & Security Engineer :

• Responsible for the maintenance, installation and commissioning of Fire and security systems, including Fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control
• Carry out takeover visits of new sites, maintenance and repair of existing system, commissioning of small works and or installations as well as offering technical guidance and support to the rest of the team
• Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices and in line with KPI’s

What our client is looking for in a Fire & Security Engineer;

• Previous experience working as an engineer in Fire & Security testing and installation - ESSENTIAL 
• Good understanding of regulations including BS7671 and BS5839, BS5266 and PD6662 – ESSENTIAL
• Esc card and or industry qualifications/training - BENEFICIAL
