Debox Operative

Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading food manufacturing company in their search for a Debox Operative to work in their leading facility in Telford.

For the successful Debox Operative, our client is offering:

• £12.92 per hour
• Rotating 6-2/2-10 shifts Monday to Friday
• Temporary - Permanent position
• Immediate starts available for the right candidates
• Overtime available and paid at T1/2

The Role - Debox Operative:

• Involves unwrapping food products from plastic packaging and feeding the correct quantity and mix onto the loading belts.
• Operating the line/ machine 
• Unboxing products 
• Heavy lifting up to 20kg
• Quality checking
• Performing safety start-up checks for machinery and your work area.
• Use of the computer system
• Following food and hygiene regulations on site
• Supervise the correct running of the various machines ensuring quality finished product.
• Working within an ambient temperature production environment (between 3-5o'c)

What our client is looking for in a Debox Operative:

• Previous experience within the food manufacturing industry - ESSENTIAL
• At least one year's Machine Operating/ Line Running experience- ESSENTIAL
• Experience in a high care food environment- DESIRABLE 
• Experience on bag label machines- DESIRABLE
• Must be comfortable with heavy lifting up to 20KG -ESSENTIAL
