For the successful Field Service Engineer our client is offering:

Basic Salary up to £42,000 per annum - Depends on experience
Working Days 8:30am-4:30pm with a 12:30pm finish on Fridays
Permanent position within an expanding company
Company Vehicle is provided - BMW 3 Series Tourer Hybrid
Overtime opportunities at enhanced rates

The Role - Field Service Engineer:

Diagnose, repair and maintain 4/6 axis Robot Systems and Associated Controllers
Providing customers with repair services either in house or onsite
Troubleshooting, maintenance and basic programming on the Companies Robots on scheduled, emergency or 24/7 basis
Responding to customer issues by Telephone & Email
This position will involve UK & Ireland based travel - Travel is always planned in advanced
Completing accurate field service reports for all customer calls
Liaising with management on jobs / progress
Learn the companies robot programming language to provide support
Involved in the 24/7 rota, usually 1 in 4 weeks

What our client is looking for in a Field Service Engineer:

A higher level qualification or equivalent is desirable but this isn't essential
Electrical/Mechanical skills and knowledge is essential due to this being a multi skilled position
Full UK Driving Licence
Must have a Passport as will involve travelling to Ireland
It would be highly advantageous if you've worked on Robots
Our client is looking for somebody who has worked in a Maintenance / Service based environment

What our client is looking for in a Mobile Service Engineer:

Flexibility in regards to UK wide travel and overnight stays (These are fully expensed with company credit card)
Valid passport and a clean UK driving licence
Possess good all round Engineering knowledge
Hydraulic and pneumatic experience- ESSENTIAL
Electrical/ Mechanically biased 50/50- ESSENTIAL
Two phase electrical experience- ESSENTIAL
Machine building experience- ESSENTIAL
Panel wiring experience- ESSENTIAL
Highly beneficial to possess MEWP / Working at Heights qualification
