Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading Manufacturing company in their search for a Galvanizing Manager - Nights to work in their leading facility in Telford

For the successful Galvanizing Manager - Nights - our client is offering; 

  • Negotiable starting salary between £40,000 - £47,500 depending on experience
  • Nights - Monday to Friday - 8pm - 6am
  • Permanent position within a expanding Manufacturing business

The Role - Galvanizing Manager - Nights:

  • Leading by example to maintain a safe / efficient workplace at all times
  • Consistently meet company quality standards, ensuring satisfaction for both internal/external customers
  • Establish and enforce production standards to deliver reliable, high quality service
  • Overseeing 1 Supervisor and around 16 members of staff on the Shopfloor
  • Ensuring timely output of products
  • Drive operations throughput by monitoring performance, meeting targets
  • Keeping waste to a minimum
  • Communicate clear job expectations , plan and assess performance, develop employees through coaching and mentorship
  • Implement cost saving measures
  • Develop and maintain robust reporting procedures
  • Execute production plans by scheduling personnel, prioritising tasks, tracking progress and resolving issues
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance, evaluate new strategies and keeping downtime to a minimum
  • Conduct research to identify process improvements and reduce unnecessary costs
  • Resolve personnel issues, investigate root causes and proposing solutions

What our client is looking for in a Galvanizing Manager - Nights

  • It is ESSENTIAL that you have experience at a Supervisory / Managerial within a GALVANIZING company
  • Possess strong knowledge of Galvanizing
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001
  • Strong man management skills

  • Planned and reactive maintenance
  • Working on a variety of equipment including boilers, burners, radiant heaters, AHUs etc
  • Attending emergency call-outs
  • Some requirements for project/installation work

What our client is looking for in a Commercial Gas Engineer

  • Current and in-date ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN1, CORT1, CIGA1, CDGA1 etc) ESSENTIAL
  • Full Driving Licence ESSENTIAL
  • knowledge of gas-fired burners and the controls thereof along with associated plant ESSENTIAL
  • Previous experience in a similar service & maintenance role ESSENTIAL
  • Proven fault finding & breakdown experience ESSENTIAL
  • City & Guilds F-Gas  / City & Guilds 18th Edition BENEFICIAL
  • NVQ/City & Guilds in Plumbing BENEFICIAL
