Saw Operator

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for a Saw Operator to work in their leading facility in Telford.

Whilst on your probation period the successful Saw Operator are offered;

• Starting rate of £13.00 per hour which will increase to £13.30 once perm
• 8:00AM - 4:30PM Monday to Friday 
• Temp to perm
• Overtime is paid at time and a third
• Progression opportunities
• Free parking

Once you are full time with the company the Saw Operator would receive;

• Overtime available at T1/3 in the week, T1/2 Saturday and double time Sunday
• 28 days holiday 
• Annual Christmas shutdown paid in full
• Company uniform

The role – Saw Operator;

• Cutting aluminium using a saw
• Supporting other departments 
• Conducting stock counts 
• Use of tape measure 
• Working in a small team environment
• Manual handling

What our client is looking for in an Saw Operator;

• Sheet metal experiance - ESSENTIAL
• Must be able to do manual work 
• Must be good with numeracy
• Must be able to read a tape measure  
• Someone who is mechanically minded
