Warehouse Operative

 For the successful Warehouse Operative, our client is offering:

• £12.74 per hour 
• Monday- Friday 8:00 AM to 4:15 PM
• Temporary to Permanent 
• Plenty of overtime available after 39 hours are worked (Time and a third in the week, Time and a half on Saturdays and Double time on Sundays!)
• Free parking - Our client is accessible via public transport

The role - Warehouse Operative:

• Pulling pump truck
• Lifting boxes
• Labelling of products
• Printing labels from the Computer
• Manual handling
• Use of a warehouse management system 
• Use of handheld scanners 
• Lifting boxes within the Dispatch area
• Walking 20,000 - 25,000 steps per shift, pulling a Pump truck
• Picking

What our client is looking for in a Warehouse Operative:

• Previous experience in a similar role - ESSENTIAL
• Must be happy with heavy lifting 
• Proven experience in a despatch environment - ESSENTIAL 
• Experience using a warehouse management experience- ESSENTIAL 
• Must have picking and packing experience- ESSENTIAL
• Must have good numeracy skills- ESSENTIAL 
• Must be happy with working within a fast paced warehouse environment

For the successful Warehouse Operative  our client is offering:

• £12.71, increasing to £13.44 once fully trained 
• Rotating 5:30-1:30/2-10 shifts Monday to Friday
• Temp- perm
• Immediate starts available for the right candidates
• Overtime available and paid at T1/2

The Role - Warehouse Operative ;

• Packing 
• Palletising 
• Unboxing products 
• Heavy lifting up to 20kg
• Quality checking
• Performing safety start-up checks for machinery and your work area.
• Following food and hygiene regulations on site
• Working with a team of around 6-8 people
• Supervise the correct running of the various machines ensuring quality finished product.
• Working within an ambient temperature production environment (between 3-5o'c)

What our client is looking for in a Warehouse Operative ;

• Previous experience within the food manufacturing industry - ESSENTIAL
• Must have picking/ packing/ palletising experience- ESSENTIAL
• Experience on bag label machines- DESIRABLE
• Must be comfortable with heavy lifting up to 20KG -ESSENTIAL
