For the successful Fabricator Welder our client is offering:

• Competitive basic salary paying up to £32,250 equating to £16.53 per hour - Depending on experience

The Role - Fabricator Welder:

• Working in a team, producing the companies equipment from engineering drawings
• Set up and operating various Machinery including: Press Brake, Guillotine, Punch, Saw, Drills and Welding machines
• MIG Welding
• Using a range of machinery within the Workshop to bend, cut, punch to form and assemble welded metal components
• Meeting production targets
• Fabricating products from start to finish
• The Fabrication projects can range from Light through to Heavy

What our client is looking for in a Fabricator Welder:

• Our client is seeking candidates who are Timeserved Fabricators and can demonstrate stability within the work history
• Ability to read from engineering drawings
• MIG Welding experience
• Qualifications would also be advantageous
• Able to work on different machines
• Able to Fabricate is ESSENTIAL
• Somebody who takes pride in the work they manufacture

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established engineering business in their search for a Semi-skilled Workshop Operative to work in St Helens

Job Details:

• Pay: £14.35 per hour (Overtime paid at x1.5 of basic Monday–Saturday, x2 of basic on Sundays)
• Hours of Work: 38 hours per week – Monday to Thursday, 8am–4:30pm, Friday 8am–2pm
• Duration: Permanent
• Benefits: Up to 6% employer pension contribution, 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays, Welplan Insurance, PPE provided (Overalls, T-shirts, Jumpers, £35 Safety Boots voucher)

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Full Driving Licence
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Experienced in setting & operating machinery
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling work

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• C&G/NVQ in a mechanical engineering discipline
• Previous experience of steel fabrication work
• Experience of MIG or TIG welding

• PPE provided (Overalls, T-shirts, Jumpers, £35 Safety Boots voucher)
