Recruit4staff are representing a leading FMCG packaging manufacturing business in their search for a Lead Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work in Tewkesbury

Job Details:

  • Pay: Up to £60,000 per annum
  • Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Benefits: 26 days holiday plus bank holidays, life assurance (1x annual salary), enhanced overtime opportunities
Job Role: This is an excellent opportunity for a Lead Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to take ownership of the site engineering function within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Lead Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will manage engineering systems, planned maintenance activities, site projects, contractor management, facilities maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives while leading and developing the engineering team. Responsibilities include managing engineering budgets, delivering maintenance through the C Works CMMS system, supporting ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance, driving continuous improvement, overseeing facilities management, and leading capital investment projects.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in a similar engineering leadership role within an FMCG manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical circuits
  • Recognised engineering qualification such as City & Guilds or HNC
  • 18th Edition qualification
  • Experience managing engineering teams, contractors and maintenance systems
  • The successful Lead Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will demonstrate strong leadership and continuous improvement skills

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • GMP experience
  • Experience driving continuous improvement programmes
  • Print industry experience is highly desirable
