Recruit4staff are representing a market leading dairy manufacturing company in their search for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work in Trafford Park

Job Details:

Pay: £50,000 to £55,000 Per Annum (5% annual bonus)
Hours of Work: Monday-Friday days role, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm
Duration: Permanent

Job Role: The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will support the reliability and performance of manufacturing equipment within a fast-paced FMCG environment. The successful Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will diagnose faults, complete planned and reactive maintenance, and support continuous improvement activities across site operations. Duties include effective shift handovers, supporting RCA and 5WHY activities, maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment, liaising with OEM suppliers, coaching operators with asset care tasks, and supporting 5S programmes across the engineering department.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

Experience within the FMCG industry - ESSENTIAL
Recognised Electrical or Mechanical apprenticeship - ESSENTIAL
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience
Experience using CMMS/PMS systems
Ability to support RCA, 5WHY and continuous improvement activities

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

IOSHH or NEBOSH qualification
Previous food production or manufacturing experience
Continuous improvement knowledge
Excellent communication and team working skills.
