Recruit4staff are representing an established packaging business in their search for a Machine Setter to work in Greenford

Job Details:

  • Pay: £32,000 per annum
  • Hours of Work: Continental shift pattern, 12-hour shifts (days and nights)
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Benefits: 26 days holiday plus bank holidays, standard pension, life insurance (1 year's salary)
Job Role: As a Machine Setter, you will be responsible for setting and running all finishing machines and formats of leaflets, ensuring maximum shift output while meeting agreed quality standards. You’ll support the team in troubleshooting finishing issues, reporting HSE requirements, and managing software or maintenance tasks using internal systems. The Machine Setter will also contribute to staff management processes including return-to-work interviews and absence management.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working on and setting print machinery
  • PC literate
  • Minimum GCSE in Mathematics and English Language or equivalent

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing experience
