Recruit4staff are representing a well-established steelwork and metalwork business in their search for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to work in Warrington

Job Details:

  • Pay: £15.00 per hour (Overtime available)
  • Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Duration: Temp to Perm

Job Role: The successful 7.5 Tonne Driver will be responsible for delivering materials to construction sites whilst ensuring loads are secured safely and correctly. The 7.5 Tonne Driver will assist with incoming deliveries, operate a C2 side loader to move stock around the warehouse, and support general workshop machine operations when required. This varied 7.5 Tonne Driver position combines driving, warehouse, and workshop responsibilities within a busy steelwork environment.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Previous experience driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle
  • Experience operating a C2 side loader
  • Valid licence to drive a 7.5 tonne truck
  • Current CPC qualification
  • Digital tachograph card holder
  • Good understanding of load securing procedures relevant to a 7.5 Tonne Driver
  • Ability to work safely within warehouse and workshop environments

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • Previous experience working for steel stockholders or within a similar industry
  • Experience handling steel products and materials
  • FLT side loader certification would be beneficial for a 7.5 Tonne Driver
