For the successful Tender Support Engineer, our client is offering:

  • Competitive Day Rate
  • Days role, Monday to Friday
  • Contract role (3 Months initial term)

The Role – Tender Support Engineer :

  • Support the preparation and submission of tenders specifically within the hydrogen production sector, ensuring comprehensive and technically accurate proposals.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teamsincluding engineering, procurement, and commercial departments to gather essential input data.
  • Prepare cost estimates, technical documentation, and risk assessments in alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
  • Assist in developing project execution strategies, technical methodologies, and compliance documentation.
  • Maintain a current understanding of the hydrogen production industry, market trends, evolving technologies, and competitor analysis.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations, providing expert insights and clarifications on tender submissions.
  • Ensure all proposals comply with regulatory standards, environmental considerations, and client specifications.

What our client is looking for in a Tender Support Engineer:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Proven experience supporting tendering activities within the hydrogen production, energy, or industrial gas sectors – ESSENTIAL.
  • Strong understanding of hydrogen production technologies including electrolyzers, steam methane reforming, and associated infrastructure.
  • Experience with tender documentation, bid preparation, and cost estimation processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and risk assessment.
  • Proficiency in relevant tools such as MS Office Suite, estimating software, and project planning tools.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
