Panel Beater

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established automotive repair business in their search for a Panel Beater to work in Birkenhead

Job Role: Stripping and rebuilding accident damaged vehicles, assessing and repairing exteriors, carrying out filler work, masking, priming and polishing. Duties also include reshaping panels, smoothing out dents, replacing panels, and ordering replacement parts when needed.

Job Details:

• Pay: £16 per hour
• Hours of Work: 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday, 42.5 hour working week. Overtime also available
• Duration: Temp to Perm
• Benefits: Permanent positions available
• Overtime Rules: x1.5 after 42.5 hrs

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Excellent manual hand tool skills

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience of exterior vehicle repair
• Previous experience of dent removal

Desired Qualifications:

• Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Body Repair or Paint Operations
• Automotive Technician Accreditations (ATA)
