Recruit4staff are representing an established business  in their search for a Shot Blaster to work in Bromborough.

Job Details:

• Pay: Upto  £36,400 per annum  (Regular overtime available)
• Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, including 2.5 hours paid at x1.5
• Duration: Permanent
• Benefits: Regular overtime, brand new equipment, standard pension, 28 days holiday

Job Role: As a Shot Blaster, you will be responsible for preparing large steel structures and smaller components ready for painting by carrying out high-quality surface preparation. The Shot Blaster will remove rust and contaminants, inspect components before and after blasting to ensure the correct surface profile for painting, and operate equipment safely within a purpose-built shot-blasting bay. This Shot Blaster role is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality finishes while maintaining excellent health and safety standards.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating a shot blasting booth
• Surface preparation experience
• Inspection experience before and after blasting
• Ability to work safely and accurately within an industrial environment

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Health and Safety tickets
• Experience working with large fabricated steelwork or industrial components
• Automotive industry experience
