Recruit4staff are representing a well-established manufacturing business in their search for a HGV 1/HGV 2 Drivers to work in Wrexham

Job Details:

Pay: £15.00 per hour (Class 2), £16.00 per hour (Class 1)
Hours of Work: Ad hoc as required, with day or tramping shifts available. Start times depend on the delivery route.
Duration: Temporary (Casual, Ad Hoc)

Job Role: As a HGV 1/HGV 2 Driver, you will operate curtain-sided lorries to transport goods safely and efficiently. The HGV 1/HGV 2 Driver role includes conducting vehicle inspections, planning delivery routes, loading and unloading cargo securely, maintaining accurate driving records, obtaining electronic and physical proof of delivery, communicating with dispatchers and customers, and ensuring full compliance with road traffic legislation and transport regulations.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

HGV Class 1 OR HGV Class 2 licence
Valid CPC Card
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
No more than 6 penalty points with no DR or DG endorsements

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or Commercial Driver
Experience operating curtain-sided vehicles

Commutable From: Wrexham, Llay, Deeside, Rhos
