Recruit4staff are representing a well‑established manufacturing business in their search for a Sewing Machinist to work on a temporary to permanent basis

Job Details:

  • Pay: £12.71 per hour (Temporary only; no overtime or additional allowances)
  • Hours of Work: 6 am – 4:14 pm, Monday – Friday
  • Duration: Temporary to Permanent (expected 12 weeks)
Job Role: You will operate industrial sewing machines (flatbed, twin‑needle, overlocking) to stitch fabric and leather into seat covers. You’ll retrieve cut parts, assemble components to work instructions, cut and attach plastic strips, and store completed covers ready for delivery lines.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Sewing experience

  • Temporary assignment expected to convert to permanent after approximately 12 weeks
