Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a Ruabon-based manufacturing company in their search for a Junior Engineer

For the successful Junior Engineer, our client is offering:
  • Starting salary of £27,000 per annum 
  • Day positions - Monday to Thursday 8.00 am to 17.15 pm - Friday 4.15 pm
  • Permanent role 
  • Every second Friday nonworking 
  • Development opportunities within the company
  • Reduction on gym memberships 
The role - Junior Engineer:
  • Key member of the Automation team, being involved in the production of parts using various production techniques
  • Understanding and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Program XYZ bed mill using XYZ ProtoTrak software
  • Produce machined components to be used on our in-house produced machines using various manufacturing techniques
  • Performing 2nd Op’s
  • Maintaining machine shop equipment through a TPM program
  • Assist in the final assembly of our automation machines
What our client is looking for in a Junior Engineer:
  • Completed Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing/Machining - ESSENTIAL 
  • Be able to carry out manual machining using a Mill and Lathe
  • Works well independently and within a team environment
  • Previous work experience in a machine shop environment - ESSENTIAL
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings - ESSENTIAL
