Recruit4staff are looking for a Management Accountant to work for a company in North Wales.

Job Details:

  • Pay: Up to £42,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience
  • Hours of Work: 9:00am–5:30pm, on-site
  • Duration: Permanent

Job Role: As a Management Accountant, you will prepare monthly management accounts, supporting reports and detailed financial analysis to provide clear insight into business performance. The Management Accountant will support budgeting and forecasting, maintain balance sheet controls and partner with operational and commercial teams to improve financial performance. You will also contribute to statutory reporting, cost and inventory analysis, finance transformation and continuous improvement projects, while supporting junior finance team members where required.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working as a Management Accountant
  • AAT Level 4 (or equivalent)
  • Full or Partially Qualified ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA or ACA
  • Strong understanding of management accounting principles
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel User
  • Experience preparing budgets, forecasts and management accounts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Candidates applying for the Management Accountant position should be comfortable producing variance analysis against budgets, forecasts and prior-year performance while managing reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and journals.

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • Manufacturing industry experience would be advantageous for this Management Accountant opportunity
  • Experience using SAP or an equivalent ERP system
  • Knowledge of stock accounting, cost accounting and inventory controls
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement projects
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or a business-related discipline
