Recruit4staff is proud to represent a leading FMCG company in its search for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work from its leading facility near Wrexham.

For the successful Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, our client is offering:
  • £45,000 to £55,000 per annum DOE
  • Monday to Thursday 6 am – 6 pm week 1 (days) and Monday to Thursday 6 pm to 6 am week 2 (nights)
  • Full-time, Permanent
  • Company pension
  • Possible flexibility on start and finish times

  • Overtime at x1.5
The role – Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer :
  • To work through assigned ppm’s and ensure high level of repairs
  • Work as part of a team to improve and develop plant machinery and processes
  • Maintain workshop cleanliness and upholding good hygiene practices
  • Ensuring all mechanical and electrical equipment is in safe working order
  • Carry out work in a safe and diligent manner
  • Understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time
What our client is looking for in a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer :
  • NVQ in mechanical engineering (or equivalent)- ESSENTIAL
  • Must be Multi-Skilled (Mechanical bias) - ESSENTIAL
  • Proven experience working in a food manufacturing environment - ESSENTIAL
  • Experience in working on food production machinery
  • Basic understanding of electrical safety and fault finding
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience with PLCs Siemens/Alun Bradley - BENEFICIAL

  • Must hold recognised Electrical/Mechanical qualifications with a completed apprenticeship - ESSENTIAL
  • Extensive experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment  - ESSENTIAL
  • Holds a higher level qualification such as a Relevant Degree - HIGHLY BENEFICIAL 
  • Must be an excellent communicator including verbal and written 
  • Experience with SAP
