Job Details:

  • Pay: £14.18 per hour
  • Hours of Work: Rotating shifts: Monday–Friday 10 pm–6 am / Tuesday–Saturday 6 am–2 pm
  • Duration: Temp to Perm

Job Role: The Production Operative will be responsible for the coating of lenses within a busy manufacturing environment. This Production Operative role involves approximately 20% machine operation and 80% manual tasks, including detailed inspection work, basic maintenance, and calibration of machinery. The Production Operative will ensure all products meet strict quality standards while adhering to site regulations and GMP procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for a Production Operative seeking long-term employment within a technically advanced production setting.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with manufacturing machinery
  • Technically minded with a strong understanding of production processes
  • High level of dexterity and excellent attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic with a stable work history
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to site regulations and GMP

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with glass
  • Experience performing coating duties
  • Background in inspection or quality-focused roles

Job Role: The Food Production Operative will be based in a dairy processing factory, responsible for operating machinery, packing products, moving goods, inspecting products, and completing quality and record checks.
