Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading North Wales manufacturer, in their search for a Senior Despatch Operator to join their growing facility in Wrexham.

For the successful Senior Despatch Operator, our client is offering:

  • Salary of circa £30,000 per annum DOE
  • Monday to Friday, Days role, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm

The Role – Senior Despatch Operator:

  • Coordinate commercial and non-commercial shipments, ensuring compliance with UK Civil Aviation Authority and international trade regulations.
  • Prepare and manage despatches using ERP, EBR, and global serialisation systems, ensuring proper handling of temperature-sensitive and hazardous goods.
  • Liaise with couriers, QA, Sales Admin, and global supply chain teams to maintain timely and accurate product shipments.
  • Act as deputy to the Despatch Team Leader, supporting team operations and decision-making in their absence.
  • Coach and support team training and development to ensure best practice and compliance.
  • Maintain despatch facility systems and ensure adherence to GMP and EHS standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities and contribute to achieving departmental KPIs.

What our client is looking for in a Senior Despatch Operator:

  • Previous experience in an export or distribution role within a highly regulated industry – ESSENTIAL
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to lead or deputise within a team
  • Experience with temperature-controlled logistics, or dangerous goods – DESIRABLE
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A team player committed to quality, compliance, and safety
