Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading construction materials testing company in their search for an experienced Quality Controller to work in their fast-moving setting based in Bangor, Gwynedd. 

For the successful Quality Controller our client is offering:
I. A permanent position 
II. Up to £21,512.40 per year
III. Days role, Monday - Friday 8 am-5 pm 
IV. Training and development opportunities 
V. OT paid at +£4 per hour Monday-Saturday / +£8 per hour Sunday 

The Role of the Quality Controller:
I. Carrying out laboratory testing 
II. Batch testing of the product to ensure it meets company standards 
III. Ensures that all health and safety regulations are met within the lab 
IV. Recording of results and maintenance of the record system
V. General cleaning and maintenance of the lab equipment 


What our client is looking for in a Quality Controller:
I. Driving license - DESIRABLE
II. C or above in GCSE Welsh or English and Maths or Science - ESSENTIAL 
III. Hard working and willing to assist in other areas when needed

For the successful Development Chef our client is offering;

  1. £25,000 to £30,000 pa DOE 
  2. 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday

The Role of the Development Chef;

  1. Inspiring, designing, developing and evolving recipes and product ideas tapping into the latest food trends and culinary techniques. 
  2. Working to customer briefs, meeting food values and cost and yield parameters
  3. Support the Technical Manager with the internal audit schedule
  4. .Work closely with the Production team to translate ideas into factory friendly, commercially viable products.
  5. Ensuring all testing relating to the Quality Management System is carried out as per the schedule.

What our client is looking for in a Development Chef;

  1. Degree qualified in Food Science or equivalent work-based experience in Restaurants - ESSENTIAL 
  2. Attention to detail
  3. Excellent communication skills.
  4. Minimum of Level 2 HACCP and Food Safety (Level 3 desirable) - ESSENTIAL

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for a Laboratory Technician to join their quality department based in Wrexham.

For the successful Laboratory Technician our client is offering:
i. £22,594 per annum starting salary, rising after training 
ii. 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday - 8.30am to 4.30pm Friday 
iii. 39.5-hour week
iv. Overtime rates paid at x1.5 
v. Permanent position with progression opportunities 

The role – Laboratory Technician:
i. Undertake a range of inspection and testing, including goods inwards checks using gauges, calipers, and micrometres
ii. Sample preparation including cutting, polishing, and mounting
iii. Perform suitability testing of our bolting assemblies in accordance with international standards
iv. Assist in maintaining compliance with our quality standards (ISO9001 registered company) including carrying out internal audits
v. Working to international standards and procedures


What our client is looking for in a Laboratory Technician:

i. Previous experience of sample testing - ESSENTIAL 
ii. Scientific or Engineering related NVQ / BTEC / HNC or similar - DESIRABLE
iii. Knowledge of ISO 9001
iv. Attention to detail
v. Metal and mechanical testing experience - DESIRABLE
