Job Details:

  • Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, typically 7am – 3pm (flexibility required)

Job Role: As a Science Graduate, you will support pharmaceutical manufacturing operations by operating process equipment in line with strict regulatory standards. The Science Graduate will be responsible for vial filling, lyophilisation, and capping, as well as assisting in upstream and downstream manufacturing processes. You will monitor equipment performance, carry out basic maintenance tasks, and ensure all activities are documented accurately. This Science Graduate role requires working within a highly regulated environment, maintaining quality and compliance at all times.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Degree in a science-related subject
  • Strong willingness to learn manufacturing techniques and procedures
  • Flexibility to work shifts and occasional weekends once trained
  • Keen interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Ability to follow strict quality and regulatory standards

What our client is offering for the successful Business Development Manager:

  • Salary: Up to £55,000 plus £5,000 Car Allowance (realistic uncapped OTE £80,000 - £100,000+)
  • Hours of work: 8:00am – 5pm Monday to Friday

The Role - Business Development Manager;
  • Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities within the Facilities Management, Hard FM and Building Services sectors.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including Facilities Managers, Estates Directors, Property Managers and Procurement teams.
  • Generate new business through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals and relationship-led sales activity.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from initial engagement through to proposal, negotiation and contract award.
  • Collaborate with operational, estimating and bid teams to develop commercially competitive solutions for prospective clients.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, CRM records and revenue forecasts, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Identify market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities to support business growth.
  • Represent the business at networking events, industry exhibitions and client meetings to strengthen brand presence and generate new opportunities.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to shape commercial strategy and contribute to the ongoing development of the business.

  • Proven success in winning new business within the Facilities Management, M&E or Building Services sectors - ESSENTIAL
  • Can demonstrate ownership of full sales life-cycle from identification to onboarding - ESSENTIAL
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify profitable growth opportunities - ESSENTIAL
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills- ESSENTIAL
  • A self-motivated and entrepreneurial approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of business growth - ESSENTIAL
  • Strong organisational skills with experience using CRM systems and producing accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports - ESSENTIAL 
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required - ESSENTIAL 
  • Existing relationships within the Healthcare, NHS, Life Sciences or Commercial Property sectors - DESIRABLE
  • Experience selling into regulated or multi-site environments - DESIRABLE
  • An established network of Facilities, Estates or Property professionals - DESIRABLE
