Electrical Engineer

• Competitive basic salary up to £35,000 (£16.82 per hour) Depending on experience
• Working Days 7:45am-5pm Monday to Thursday with a 12:45pm finish on Fridays

The Role - Electrical Fitter:

• Constructing Electrical Systems/Equipment from detailed drawings
• Fault finding and diagnostics of electrical equipment
• Installation of a variety of equipment at customers on a worldwide basis - This will typically be around 5/6 times a year (Roughly 1-2 weeks away)
• Working within team situations to complete projects in a timely manner
• Use of hand and power tools
• Providing guidance to junior members of the team

What our client is looking for in a Electrical Fitter:

• City & Guilds Electrical Qualification, or similar - ESSENTIAL
• You will possess previous experience of working within an electrical environment
• Ability to travel Worldwide to customer sites
• Full UK Driving Licence & Passport - ESSENTIAL
• Knowledge of fault finding / diagnostics & Installation

For the successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer our client is offering;

• Salary of £46,181 per annum
• 4 week rotational shift pattern (Days & Nights), 12 hour shifts (8am - 8pm/8pm - 8am)

The Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer;

• Maintain all machinery to provide optimum functionality
• Attend breakdowns and diagnose and repair equipment using the appropriate test equipment and tools.
• Ensure all electrical maintenance tasks are completed on time in full.
• Conducting all planned preventative maintenance including implementing and developing new processes to resolve maintenance faults, repeat issues and inefficiencies in a continuous improvement environment
• Using a CMMS system for the maintenance of stock levels and work order
• There is also a 5 week cover period, which is taken in turns with all 5 shift Electricians and potentially gives you two lots of this during a full year.

What our client is looking for in an Electrical Maintenance Engineer;

• Proven experience working in an electrical manufacturing environment - ESSENTIAL
• Higher diploma/NVQ electrical qualification - ESSENTIAL
• 17^th or 18^th Edition certificate - ESSENTIAL
• Ability to identify root cause quickly and effectively
• Ability and experience interpreting technical drawings- ESSENTIAL 
• H&S qualified – IOSH / NEBOSH- DESIRABLE 
• FLT licence- DESIRABLE
• IPAF certificate- DESIRABLE

As a Multiskilled Engineer your responsibilities will be:

• Dealing with breakdowns on a daily basis
• Fault finding
• Dealing with both Mechanical & Electrical issues
• Planned preventative maintenance
• Working with PLC Controls and carrying out fault finding related activities
• Continuous improvement throughout the plant
• Supporting with NPI
• Working to agreed deadlines 
• Root cause analysis & identifying ways to stop the issue reoccurring
• Liaising with Operators to understand issues

What our client is looking for in a Multiskilled Engineer:

• Experience within the food manufacturing/packaging industry - PREFERRED
• Candidates must be Multi Skilled, with an emphasis on being Mechanically bias but our client is looking for somebody to have a strong understanding of Electrical Control Wiring Diagrams
• City & Guilds Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or BTEC National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering - ESSENTIAL
• Experience with PLC's - ESSENTIAL
• Applicants will be expected to go through a 2 stage interview process with the first stage being a numeracy and literacy assessment, as well as completing an Engineering test

The Role - Field Service Engineer:

• Diagnose, repair and maintain 4/6 axis Robot Systems and Associated Controllers
• Providing customers with repair services either in house or onsite
• Troubleshooting, maintenance and basic programming on the Companies Robots on scheduled, emergency or 24/7 basis
• Responding to customer issues by Telephone & Email
• This position will involve UK & Ireland based travel - Travel is always planned in advanced
• Completing accurate field service reports for all customer calls
• Liaising with management on jobs / progress
• Learn the companies robot programming language to provide support
• Involved in the 24/7 rota, usually 1 in 4 weeks

What our client is looking for in a Field Service Engineer:

• A higher level qualification or equivalent is desirable but this isn't essential
• Electrical/Mechanical skills and knowledge is essential due to this being a multi skilled position
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Must have a Passport as will involve travelling to Ireland
• It would be highly advantageous if you've worked on Robots
• Our client is looking for somebody who has worked in a Maintenance / Service based environment
