The role - MIG Welder:

MIG Welding Mild Steel
Fabricating bespoke products
Working from drawings
Use of hand and power tools
Ensuring products are welded to required standards

What our client is looking for in a MIG Welder:

Previous MIG welding experience - ESSENTIAL
Fabrication skills- ESSENTIAL
Previous experience welding on mild steel- ESSENTIAL
Ability to work to strict deadlines

The hiring manager would prefer someone who can do both MIG & TIG welding, but they are prepared to take someone who can do just MIG Welding.

For the successful Welder our client is offering;

Starting pay rate of £15.00 per hour for days and £14.50 + 1.33% shift allowance for final 9 hours (£19.28 per hour)
Day Shifts are 7:30am - 16:15pm - Monday to Thursday and 7:30am- 13:30pm -Friday's
Night Shifts are 16:30pm- 05:00am - Monday to Thursday- 49 hours per week
Temporary - Permanent position

Monthly time keeping and attendance bonus once permanent

Working on mild steel and stainless
Fabrication
Tacking and prepping orders
Working from engineering drawings
Metal Preparation

What our client is looking for in a Welder

Proven previous experience within a similar role - ESSENTIAL
Fabrication experience- ESSENTIAL
MIG Welding experience- ESSENTIAL
TIG Welding- ADVANTAGEOUS
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings- ESSENTIAL
