The role - Senior Project Manager:
  • Senior accountable owner for the relationship with our customers
  • Working with commercial & defence sector contractors
  • Collaboration and liaison with other Project Managers and members of the senior leadership team.
  • Ability to take ownership and accountability of allocated projects to ensure delivery of the technical and financial performance whilst having the backing of a supportive team and working closely with the senior leadership.
  • Ensuring design, engineering and stringent quality standards are maintained.
  • Accountable for project wide estimating covering all aspects such as technical development, supply chain, risks, variations including additional scope etc.
  • Senior representative attending customer meeting cover all project aspects and levels of seniority within the customer organisation.

  • Lead the project team and manage the supply chain to deliver projects to time, meeting cost and quality targets and company standards.

What our client is looking for in a Senior Project Manager:

  • Experience of Project Management & Contract Management within a heavy manufacturing / steel fabrication / heavy engineering / ship building environment - ESSENTIAL
  • Have a working knowledge of the procedures and processes undertaken in shipyards and knowledge of shipyard trade skills and their scopes of work.
  • Proven experience of of estimating projects in a heavy engineering environment - ESSENTIAL
  • Commercial awareness and experience in working with Customers quantity Surveyors.
  • Experience in building and expanding a project team to meet additional demands.
  • Experience of defence sector single source contracting and SSRO requirements - BENEFICIAL

The Role - Warehouse Operative:

  • Picking and packing parts for bulk distribution and courier delivery.
  • Auditing bulk orders prior to departure. 
  • Completing stock checks and flagging up any inaccuracies.
  • Assisting the dispatch team with the loading of our Genuine Parts trailers. 
  • Supporting the goods in team with adding new stock to correct shelf locations.
  • Ensuring the safe dispatch of fragile products and providing feedback to improving packaging solutions.
  • Ensuring any stock movements are recorded correctly.

What we are looking for in a warehouse operative:

  • Previous experience in similar warehouse role - ESSENTIAL
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, target driven environment
  • Physically fit and able to complete manual handling tasks
  • The ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

The role - Metrology Engineer:
