The Role - Engineering Team Leader:
  • Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the engineering team, ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently and meet the company’s high standards.
  • This role involves both hands-on engineering work and leadership responsibilities.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance, technical support, and performance feedback.
  • Work closely with other departments, including Operations, Production, and Quality Assurance, to ensure seamless project delivery.
What our client is looking for in an Engineering Team Leader:
  • Must hold a recognised electrical or mechanical apprenticeship - ESSENTIAL 
  • Experience of managing an on-site team within the FMCG environment - ESSENTIAL 
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Must be an effective communicator with strong people skills 
  • Previous experience with pumps, valves, steam boilers, compressors, and homogenizers - ESSENTIAL

The Role of the PLC Programmer:

  • Carrying out modification, fault finding and programming of PLC's
  • Support existing electrical, instrumentation and control systems and ensure requests for change/assistance are satisfied in accordance with existing standards to ensure production is maximised and all modifications are recorded/approved.
  • Recommend improvements or replacements which will improve reliability, safety or production through expert product knowledge
  • Liaising with various departments internally, ensuring machines are performing effectively/efficiently
  • Involvement in multiple projects at any given time, ensuring these are enhancing improvements within technology
  • Must demonstrate a pragmatic, insightful, and logical approach to problem solving and continually challenge traditional methods whilst constantly thinking about simplification, standardisation, and improvement

The Role – Quality, Health & Safety Engineer;

  • Solving day to day problems and anticipating Health & Safety, Quality & Environmental hazards

The Role of the Principal Bridge Engineer.

The Principal Bridge Engineer will play a pivotal role in the technical aspects of engineering projects and must have extensive expertise in structural analysis, design, and construction, ensuring the safe and efficient completion of projects that meet all applicable standards and regulations.

  • Chartered Engineer with the ICE or IStructE
