Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to MIG weld
  • Experience working from engineering drawings to fabricate steel components
  • Skilled in working with thin gauge sheet metal and heavy gauge steel

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • NVQ/C&G in Fabrication and Welding or equivalent
  • Previously coded in MIG welding
  • Experience welding galvanised steel / stainless steel
Additional Information
  • Some inter-departmental support may be required depending on manufacturing needs

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established manufacturing business in their search for a Production Operator to work in Sandycroft, Deeside

Job Details:

  • Pay: £13.41 - £14.49 per hour
  • Hours of Work: Shift work rotating over a 3-week pattern
    • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Nights (18:45 - 07:00)
    • Week 2: Monday & Tuesday Days, one-off Thursday & Friday Nights (06:45 - 19:00 & 18:45 - 07:00)
    • Week 3: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Days (06:45 - 19:00)
  • Duration: Temp to Perm (Expected Duration: 14 weeks)
Job Role: As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for the inspection and packing of high-quality plastic containers. You'll work in line with customer and product specifications, maintain a clean and safe workspace, scrap poor quality products, and accurately maintain production records for your assigned machine.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • Previous experience of working shifts (preferably 12 hours)
  • Must be able to complete manual handling tasks
  • Ability to get to site for shift times
