CNC Programmer Setter

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing business, as they look to recruit a skilled CNC Programmer Setter to join their team, working from their Widnes based manufacturing facility.

What our client is offering for the successful CNC Programmer Setter:

• Basic Salary of up to £36,000 per annum
• 38 hours per week (Optional shift pattern, Monday to Friday)
• Permanent position
• 25 Days holiday + Bank Holidays (Option to buy/sell 3 days)
• Enhanced overtime rates of x1.5 in the week and Saturday & x2 on Sunday

The Role - CNC Programmer Setter

• Programming MAZAK CNC machines using Mazatrol controls
• Setting & Operating CNC milling & turning centres
• Setting & Operating a CNC Intergrex machine
• Working from technical drawings to tight tolerances 
• Quality checking products
• Making products in batch orders 
• Use measuring equipment
• Meet/exceed OTD and Quality targets
• Participate in continuous improvement activities
• Follow all safety rules without exception

What our client is looking for in the successful CNC Programmer Setter:

• Previous experience in a similar role covering CNC Programming, setting, and operating - ESSENTIAL
• Previous experience working with MAZAK CNC machinery - BENEFICIAL
• Previous experience using Mazatrol controls - BENEFICIAL
• C&G./NVQ in a relevant mechanical engineering discipline - BENEFICIAL
• Experience machining a range of materials, Mild steel, Stainless Steel, Alloys etc. - ESSENTIAL
• Able to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as under own initiative
