For the successful Commercial Gas Engineer, our client is offering:

£38,000 - £40,000 (Negotiable depending on experience)
40 Hours per week (Day shifts) Overtime available
Permanent Position
Company vehicle and mobile phone/tablet
Private use of the vehicle
23 days holiday plus bank holidays
Call out rota 1 in 12
Door to Door pay
Attendance bonus

The Role - Commercial Gas Engineer

Working in various commercial & industrial client sites
Fault Finding, Service, maintenance & breakdown work on commercial & industrial heating and ventilation plant
Planned and reactive maintenance
Working on a variety of equipment including boilers, burners, radiant heaters, AHUs etc
Attending emergency call-outs

What our client is looking for in a Commercial Gas Engineer

Current and in-date ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN1, CORT1, CIGA1, CDGA1 etc) ESSENTIAL
Full Driving Licence ESSENTIAL
Previous experience in a similar service & maintenance role ESSENTIAL
Proven fault finding & breakdown experience ESSENTIAL
City & Guilds F-Gas / City & Guilds 18th Edition BENEFICIAL
NVQ/City & Guilds in Plumbing BENEFICIAL

The role – Commercial Gas Engineer:

Heating/ combustion maintenance reactive repair works
Work within set time frames to meet client's expectations
Undertake heating/combustion PPM works
Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plants, including basic electrical fault finding
Maintain stock control systems as directed
Carry out on-call duties as part of a rota
Commercial and domestic installations
Domestic fault finding and servicing
Minor plumbing works

What our client is looking for in a Commercial Gas Engineer:

Commercial gas qualifications (CIGA1, COCN1, ICPN1, TPCP1A) - Essential
Domestic Gas qualifications (CCN1, CEN1, CPA1)
A full driving licence - Essential
Significant previous experience in a similar service environment
Must be flexible in their approach to work
LPG or Oftec Oil tickets - Desirable
HVAC Control Systems - Desirable
Previous experience of PFI building maintenance - Desirable
Legionella Awareness - Desirable
Experience of BMS systems - Desirable
