Assembly Operative

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Manufacturing company in their search for Assembly/Machine Operative to work in their leading facility in Shrewsbury.

For the successful Assembly/ Machine Operative our client is offering;

• Pay Rate up to £13.10 per hour depending on shift 
• Shifts available:
  • Monday- Thursday 8:00 - 16:00 and 8:00- 15:00 Friday's - £12.30 per hour
  • Monday - Thursday, 14:00 - 23:00, Friday 14:00 - 17:30 - £13.10 per hour
  • Two week rotating shift of Mon- Fri 6am-2pm alternate with Monday -Thursday 2pm-11pm Fri- 2pm-5:30pm- £13.10 per hour 
  • Monday- Friday 06:00- 14:00 - £12.30 per hour
• Temporary - Permanent position
• Free parking

The role - Assembly/ Machine Operative;

• Perform hands on production and assembly functions including running machines and packing
• Ensure your designated machine is operated in accordance with required production schedule
• Conducting visual checks on the machine prior to operating them
• Ensuring the orders manufactured meet the required customer standards
• Complete all relevant paperwork in relation to the role
• Following health & safety regulations
• Keeping a clean and tidy work area
• Working in a stand alone role 
• Meeting daily production targets

What our client is looking for in a Assembly/ Machine Operative;

• Previous experience in a similar role - ESSENTIAL
• Happy to work a repetitive role within a small team environment - ESSENTIAL
• Be in a good standard of health to be able to work in an upright, repetitive position for the shift duration - ESSENTIAL 
• Ability to demonstrate agility with hands to assemble small fastening systems - ESSENTIAL
• Keen eye for detail- ESSENTIAL 
• Due to site location, own transport is essential
