Machine Operator

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing business in their search for a Machine Operator to work in their leading facility in Deeside .

For the successful Machine Operator our client is offering:

£13.23 per hour
Shift pattern including days, nights and weekends, 12 hours shift 6am-6pm, 6pm-6am – Working an average of 42 hours a week (2 weeks training will be on day shift Monday till Friday 8am-4pm)
Temp to perm position
On site parking

The role –Machine Operator :

To convert large printed rolls of materials into the finished customer specified format, utilizing our in house finishing equipment and working to deadlines
Basic routine maintenance (including weekly safety and maintenance checks on all equipment)
Inspection of machinery & rewind to achieve highest possible quality with maximum output and minimum waste
Maintain a tidy work area at all times
Operate within Company safety policy at all times

What our client is looking for in a Machine Operator :

Minimum 2 years experience of operating machinery- ESSENTIAL
Knowledge of procedures for running machinery -ESSENTIAL
Previous experience within a busy manufacturing or warehouse environment- ESSENTIAL
Good communication skills
Able to work under own initiative
The ability to fault find and problem solve
Good understanding of Health & Safety

For the successful Machine Operative our client is offering:

£12.66 per hour , plus shift allowance on night shift (hours worked from 10pm-6am are paid at £14.21 p/h)
Shift Rotation Monday - Thursday 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am OR Tuesday - Friday 6am-6pm
Temp to Perm position
On site parking
Long weekend every week.

The role –Machine Operative :

Running machines to produce Packaging for the FMCG industry
Machine minding
Loading & Unloading machines
Making sure products are produced to the required standard
General housekeeping duties

What our client is looking for in a Machine Operative :

Minimum 2 years experience of operating machinery- ESSENTIAL
Previous experience of working in a food production environment - BENEFICIAL
Demonstrable amount of experience in a Manufacturing role.
