Duties will also include manual handling of steel plate and tube, use of hand tools, and providing general support to skilled trades such as welders and fabricators. This is a varied role within a busy engineering environment.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Mechanical assembly experience
  • Ability to read and interpret simple engineering drawings

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • Engineering qualifications such as NVQs, City & Guilds, or similar

  • Further training available after qualifying period
