Recruit4staff are representing an established logistics business in their search for a Warehouse Operative to work in Skelmersdale

Job Details:

  • Pay: £12.71 - £13.71  per hour overtime available 
  • Hours of Work: Various shifts Monday to Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, 4 on 4 off (Days and Nights), Thursday - Sunday days 
  • Duration: Temporary
  • Benefits:  PPT, FLT training provided and opportunity for a permanent position after the qualifying period 
Job Role: As a Warehouse Operative, you will pick palletised goods from the warehouse and prepare them for despatch. The role involves counting and quality-checking products against despatch notes, inspecting pallets for damage, and securely wrapping pallets ready for despatch. The Warehouse Operative will also operate PPTs following appropriate training.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Previous warehouse experience in a Warehouse Operative or similar role
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Ability to accurately count and check products against despatch documentation

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • Previous FLT, PPT, VNA or pallet wrapper experience would be advantageous for this Warehouse Operative position
Additional Information
  • PPT training will be provided
  • Permanent positions are available for suitable Warehouse Operative candidates

  • Ability to work effectively within a busy factory and warehouse environment
