Production Operative

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for a Production Operative to work in their leading facility in Telford

Please be aware this role is working 12-hour shifts which will rotate between days and nights on a 3-week cycle, you MUST be flexible to work a rotating shift pattern.

For the successful Production Operatives our client is offering;

1. Temporary-Permanent position
2. 7.00 am - 19.00 pm  / 19.00 pm to 7.00 am
3. Starting rate of 9.04 per hour, rising to 9.20 per hour once a probation period has been completed

The Role of the Production Operative:

1. Assisting Technicians
2. Carrying out foil changes
3. Labouring and general shop floor duties.
4. Moving finished pallets from the press lines to the auto pallet wrapper with a hand pump truck.
5. Hourly quality checks.
6. Monitoring and controlling scrap containers and coil scrap.
7. Reaction to when presses stop. Restarting in a timely and safe manner
8. Reporting any faults or concerns with the machinery or product
9. Other duties as required

What our client is looking for in a Production Operative:

1. Previous manufacturing experience - Essential
