Production Team Leader

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Manufacturing company in their search for a Production Team Leader to work in their leading facility in Telford

Due to the nature of the business, we are looking for someone who has come from the plastics/extrusion industry and has had previous experience of supervising a team.

For the successful Production Team Leader our client is offering;

1. Temporary - Permanent contract
2. Basic hourly rate of 10.00 - 11.00 per hour, overtime rates available at T1/3
3. 6-2 / 2-10 rotation
4. Free Parking
5. Company pension scheme and medical plan (once full time)

The Role - Production Team Leader:

1. Managing a shift of up to 15 staff
2. Reporting into the Production Manager
3. Running the extrusion machinery, inclusive of pre-production set up and changeovers
4. Ensure all raw materials, scrap and finished goods are accurately documented and recorded
5. Setting and Operating the machine
6. Understanding Plastic Extrusion process
7. Hitting daily production targets
8. Adhering to Health and Safety Regulations
9. Manual Handling

What our client is looking for in a Production Team Leader;

1. Previous team leading/supervisory experience - ESSENTIAL
2. Previous Plastics/Extrusion Experience - ESSENTIAL
3. Minimum of 5 years experience within the manufacturing sector - ESSENTIAL
