Powder Coater / Painter

Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a well-established engineering company in their search for a Powder Coater/Painter to work in various sites across the North Wales & North West area

For the successful Powder Coater/ Painter our client is offering: 

• Up to £15 per hour (Depending on experience)
• Overtime paid at x1.5
• Monday to Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm 
• Temporary on going - Chance of Perms

• Wet spraying 2-pack synthetic paints
• Using a powder-coating oven
• Applying the powder coat process to steel components.
• Set up the flow of powder from guns to achieve the required thickness of paint
• Visual inspections of coated parts
• Ensure that the correct powder is used and of the correct quality
• Ensure clean down of all equipment and that there is no colour contamination ready for the next process

What we are looking for in a Powder Coater/ Painter

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Previous experience of powder coating - ESSENTIAL
• Previous experience of paint spraying
• Previous experience using hand tools & power tools
• Previous experience working in a production environment
• Engineering qualification BENEFICIAL
