Roofing Surveyor

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading roofing and repairs company in their search for Roofing Surveyor to work from their head office in the Wirral.

For the successful Roofing Surveyor our client is offering:

• Salary of up to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Monday to Friday, 8am till 5pm (Some flexibility may be required)
• Permanent Role
• Company van, fuel card, gym membership

The role - Roofing Surveyor:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for roofing projects, ensuring accuracy and comprehensiveness.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of tenders, negotiate contracts, and ensure all contract terms are adhered to.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and prepare interim and final valuations.
• Monitor project costs and financial performance, providing regular updates and reports to management.
• Manage contractual documentation, including variations, claims, and dispute resolutions.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards.
• Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
• Ensure all projects comply with legal requirements, industry standards, and company policies.

What our client is looking for in a Roofing Surveyor:

• 5 years of roofing experience, being experienced in all aspects of roofing, slate, and tiling, flat roofing, led work etc - DESIRABLE
• Previous experience in the roofing or construction industry - ESSENTIAL
• Applicant should be experienced in creating specifications, reports and survey results
• Application will be required to be computer literate - ESSENTIAL
• Undertake on the job training/qualifications
• Full UK Driving Licence  - ESSENTIAL
