Job title Auto-Electrician

For the successful Auto-Electrician our client is offering:

1. 12.00 - 14.00 per hour (Depending on experience)
2. 0800 to 17.00 Monday to Thursday Early Finish Friday 
3. Temporary position 
4. Opportunity for overtime with overtime premiums

The role Auto-Electrician:

1. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in commercial vehicle bodybuilding.

Auto-Electrician Job Duties:

1. Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on new commercial vehicles, while observing all statutory and legal requirements
2. Running tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation
3. Inspecting electrical systems and equipment for damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards

What our client is looking for in an Auto-Electrician:

1. Knowledge of electrical vehicle maintenance standards required for HGV operation.
2. City & Guilds Part 3 in motor vehicles studies or similar would be advantageous
3. Experienced in the diagnostic, electrical repair, and maintenance of all types of large and small commercial vehicles and bodies
4. Working knowledge of Health and Safety and its impact in vehicle repair operations
