Production Operatives

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for Production Operatives to work in their leading facility on the outskirts of Shrewsbury

Due to a request from the hiring manager, you MUST have your own transport.

The client would ideally like people with previous food manufacturing experience, but they will take people who have previous manufacturing experience

For the successful Production Operatives our client is offering;

1. Temporary-Permanent position
2. 7.00 am - 19.00 pm (4 on 4 off days)
3. Starting rate of 9.00 per hour, potentially rising to 9.50 per hour (depending on performance/experience)

The Role of the Production Operatives;

1. Setting up robotic equipment
2. Populating and keeping equipment populated with packaging
3. Clearing blockages and basic troubleshooting
4. Efficient changeovers between products
5. Quality checks, mostly date code checks and weight checks
6. Selecting the correct program on batch code printers
7. Recording checks and batch details

What our client is looking for in a Production Operative;

1. Previous food manufacturing/packaging experience is PREFERRED
