Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a supplier to the construction industry in their search for a an experienced Credit Controller to work from their head office facility in Chester. 

For the successful Credit Controller our client is offering:

  • £25,000  per annum DOE
  • 35 hours a week Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 17:00  and Friday 08:30 – 12:30
  • Permanent Role

The role - Credit Controller : 

  • Processing of cash receipts including forecasting
  • Processing of credit notes and manual invoices as required
  • Collection of outstanding debt – including more complex construction debtors
  • Reporting on outstanding debt
  • Maintaining positive working relationships and communication with external and internal customers and other stakeholders
  • Posting of finance transactions and maintaining records
  • Supportive assistance across the wider finance team and ledgers as required
  • Undertaking any other duties which may be requested by the Management Accountant (full training will be provided)

What our client is looking for in a Credit Controller :

  • Experience working within credit control / sales ledger / accounts receivable - ESSENTIAL
  • Negotiation skills - ESSENTIAL
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of SAGE - DESIREABLE
  • MS Excel (Intermediate / Advanced) - ESSENTIAL
