Recruit4staff are representing a leading manufacturing business in their search for a Punch Press Operator to work in Telford.

Job Details:

  • £35,459.38 Per Annum, inclusive of shift allowance
  • Hours of Work: Nights - 22:00 - 06:00 Sunday to Thursday
  • Duration: Permanent role within a rapidly expanding business
  • Benefits: Monthly productivity bonus, annual productivity bonus, overtime opportunities, free parking, canteen facilities with vending machines and modern break areas
  • 8.33% bonus scheme in place
Job Role: The Punch Press Operator will be , interpreting engineering drawings, and adjusting the machine to meet various metal punching requirements. You will produce high-quality metalwork to standard and operate within a busy fabrication department, with training provided on other machinery.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar Punch Press Operator - Essential
  • Ability to work from engineering drawings
  • Our client is open to someone who has done either Punch Press or Press Brake
  • Ideally experienced with Amada machinery

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • Experience with other punch press brands such as Trumpf, Bystronic etc.
