Recruit4staff are representing a well-established precision engineering company in their search for a CNC Turner to work in Wirral

Job Role: The CNC Turner will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC turning centres, including XYZ and Hurco lathes. The role includes reading and interpreting engineering drawings to manufacture bespoke components and small batch orders, changing tools as required, and ensuring all work meets tight tolerances.

Job Details:

• Pay: Basic salary of up to £36,075 per annum
• Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week
  Monday to Friday, 8am till 4:30pm, 2:30pm finish on Friday
• Duration: Permanent

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Programming & setting of CNC Turning centres
• Working to tight tolerances
• Working from engineering drawings
• Experience working in a contract machining environment on bespoke, one-off jobs and small batch orders

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Experience working with CNC Milling machines
• CAD/CAM programming or similar experience
• Manual machining

Essential Qualifications:

• HNC/City and Guilds in Engineering or equivalent

Desired Qualifications:

• CAD/CAM programming
• Manufacturer training courses (Fanuc/Mazatrol/Heidenhain etc)

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established materials handling solutions manufacturer in their search for a CNC Turner (Day Shift) to work in Liverpool

Job Role: The CNC Turner (Day Shift) will be setting and operating CNC lathe, working directly from engineering drawings to produce precision components. The role includes quality checking of machined products using measuring equipment and performing tool changes as necessary. The CNC Turner (Day Shift) will also work to specific deadlines to ensure timely completion of production schedules.

Job Details:

• Pay: up to £14.05 per hour
• Hours of Work: Day shift: Monday - Thursday – 08:00-16:30, Friday 07:00 – 12:30
• Duration: Temp to Perm position
• Benefits: Free Parking, Pension, Weekly Pay

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven setting & operating experience of a CNC lathe
• Ability to interpret and work from a technical drawing
• Experienced using various measuring equipment

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Experience working with HAAS/ Citizen controlled lathes
• Ability to programme CNC machines
• Offline programming experience

Essential Qualifications:

• City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or similar course

Desired Qualifications:

• Time served CNC Machinist
• CAD/CAM programming course
