Section Engineer - Civil Engineering

Recruit4Staff are proud to represent our client, an internationally renowned construction & civil engineering company in their search for a Section Engineer/ Sub-Agent to work on their newly awarded contract in the North Wales area

For the successful Section Engineer/ Sub-Agent our client is offering:

1. Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (Negotiable depending on experience & skillset)
2. Company car or car allowance
3. 25 days holiday + Bank holidays
4. Digs provided
5. Pension with up to 8% contribution from our client
6. Permanent role

1. Reporting to the Commercial Manager based at site
2. Managing a section of the civil engineering project either Shafts or Compounds and set-up
3. Co-ordinate and control construction activities ensuring the project runs to schedule and budget
4. Day to Day management of site activities, including supervising and monitoring the site operations and carrying out briefings as necessary, preparing RAMS and ensuring compliance
5. Ensuring plant and materials are ordered and supplied as required
6. Checking drawings and quantities, ensuring that the information is accurate for the work
7. Produce Risk Assessments / Method Statements
8. Ensuring that activities are planned, organised, and monitored to ensure safety, time constraints, and quality requirements are met
9. Ensure Health & Safety procedures are monitored and adhered to
10. Produce work permits
11. Manage subcontractors

What our client is looking for in a Section Engineer/ Sub-Agent 

1. BEng in Civil Engineering or similar ESSENTIAL
2. CSCS Card qualified ESSENTIAL
3. SMSTS qualified ESSENTIAL
4. Lifting appointed Person ESSENTIAL
5. First Aid BENEFICIAL 
6. Previous experience working in the civil engineering sector ESSENTIAL
7. Currently hold a CSCS Card BENEFICIAL
8. UK Drivers Licence
