Pipefitter

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading Engineering company in their search for an experienced permanent Pipefitter to work from their Knowsley based workshop and attend sites across the North West area

For the successful Pipefitter our client is offering: 

• Up to £25 per hour (CIS/LTD)
• Core Hours: Mon-Fri 8am - 4:30pm 
• Overtime paid at enhanced rates
• Ongoing temporary contract

The Role: Pipefitter

• Working in a workshop & on various sites in the North West
• Working with steel, stainless and carbon pipe
• Fitting pipes on site
• Pipefitting small and large bore pipe
• Following drawings to fabricate pipes
• Ensure accurate assembly and installation of pipes, valves, fittings, and related equipment
• Conduct regular quality checks.
• Measure, cut, thread, and weld pipes and tubing to specifications.
• Maintain detailed records of work.

What our client is looking for in a Pipefitter

• City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent in Pipefitting or similar trade - BENEFICIAL
• Full Driving Licence
• CCNSG Safety Passport or equivalent site cards
• Pipefitting experience - ESSENTIAL
• Experience with TIG welding BENEFICIAL
• Ability to interpret complex drawings - ESSENTIAL
• Strong knowledge of various pipe materials, fittings, and joining methods.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
