Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading Manufacturing Company in their search for a Maintenance Engineer to work in their facility in Powys.  

For the Maintenance Engineer, our client is offering:

• £42,708 Per annum
• All overtime is double at £45.62 an hour. 
• Thursday, Friday & Saturday Shift, 12-hour days 6 AM to 6 PM (same shift every week) 
• Permanent position.

The role - Maintenance Engineer:

• Working as part of the maintenance team the role will require a strong degree of cross-functional teamwork as well as completing individual projects/tasks.

• The role requires the engineer to carry out planned preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and facilities maintenance. There is also a requirement to be involved in and carry out a range of project work based on solutions generated through our continuous improvement approach throughout the site. 

What our client is looking for in a Maintenance Engineer:

• A fully trained Maintenance Engineer ideally with a strong background in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and used to working to high standards of Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental practices.
• Previous experience in a maintenance engineering role (incorporating both mechanical and electrical)
• Be trained to IEE wiring regulations standards 18th Edition 
• Computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office
• Good communication skills, timekeeping and attention to detail
