Electrical Engineer

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing business based in Liverpool in their search for a new Electrical Engineer

For the successful Electrical Engineer our client is offering:

1. Salary £32,000 to £40,000 per annum (Negotiable Depending on experience)
2. Monday to Friday alternating shifts 
3. Training and development
4. Full Time Position
5. Free parking 

The role – Electrical Engineer:

1. To attend all electrical and mechanical plant, equipment, and building problems 
2. Planned and Reactive maintenance 
3. Fault finding & breakdown repair
4. Start up and shut down processing plant, equipment and facilities.
5. Working to quality standards - EN ISO 9001:2000
6. Keeping accurate maintenance records 
7. Working in a busy environment 

What our client is looking for in a Electrical Engineer:

1. Previous experience in a similar site/shift maintenance engineer position ESSENTIAL
2. Be a time served engineer with a City and Guilds / ONC / NVQ in Electrical Engineering ESSENTIAL
3. Excellent fault-finding skills for electrical and mechanical drive systems as well as pneumatic and hydraulic control systems, relaying logic and hard-wired system fault diagnostics
4. Ability top read and follow engineering drawings ESSENTIAL
5. Working knowledge in Electrical and mechanical systems ESSENTIAL 
6. Knowledge in one or more of mechanical, automation, hydraulic, pneumatic, pressure systems (steam) BENEFICIAL
7. Flexible to work approach
