For the successful Field Service Engineer our client is offering:

Basic Salary up to £39,000 per annum - Depends on experience
Working Days 8:45 - 5pm Monday to Friday
Permanent position within an expanding company
Work uniform provided
Clean / Modern working environment
Company Vehicle is provided
Lots of overtime available on a regular basis - High earning potential
Smart Phone & Laptop are both provided with this role
23 days holiday which rises to 25 days after year 1

The Role - Field Service Engineer:

Installation/Commissioning/Servicing of the companies products at customer sites
Providing technical support to customers via phone/email & in person
Fault finding & diagnostics of systems / equipment
Attending breakdowns where necessary
Working from engineering drawings to build various products
Carrying out both Mechanical & Electrical projects
Testing & Inspection of systems and equipment
Providing remote support to customers (Phone & Email)

What our client is looking for in a Field Service Engineer:

17th/18th Edition would be advantageous, however this isn't essential
Apprentice served Engineer
Electrical/Mechanical skills and knowledge is essential due to this being a multi skilled position
Worldwide Travel is required for this position, you will be notified in advance prior to travelling away
Full UK Driving Licence

The Role - Electrical Test Engineer:

Testing and validation of systems and equipment, including on site and at worldwide customer locations
Training of customers on systems and equipment, including on site and at worldwide customer locations
Commissioning of Automated/Robotic equipment
Completion of technical documentation including test plans and training modules
Installation and commissioning of system/equipment upgrade projects
Providing remote technical support to customers, to include fault finding & diagnostic support
Development of Robot & PLC software
Modifying engineering drawings to support system builds and improve overall quality

What our client is looking for in a Electrical Test Engineer

Ability to read and understand mechanical/electrical drawings
Our client is looking for somebody who holds a Degree in Electrical/Electronics or Mechatronics with a 1st Class honours/2:1 - Essential
Ability to travel Worldwide - Essential
Full Clean Driving Licence & Passport - Essential
PLC Fault finding experience
