Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing business in their search for a Class 2 Driver to work in their leading facility in Telford.

Although the main duties of this role will be Class 2 Driving, you will be required to do some hands on work that will include fitting and installation of the manufacturers products at their customers.

The standard hours will be days Monday to Friday, but you will be required to do nights out as or when the business required you to do so.

For the successful Class 2 Driver our client is offering;

  1. Temporary-Permanent Position 
  2. Hourly rate up to £13.50 per hour (D.O.E)
  3. Day shifts Monday to Friday, start and finish times will vary
  4. Overtime payable after 40 hours (T1/3 in the week, T1/2 Saturday and double time Sunday)
  5. £25 per night bonus paid when working a night out

The Role of the Class 2 Driver:

  1. Complete daily vehicle checks to make sure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use
  2. Fitting and installation work when on site
  3. Handballing the products and installing them on the site
  4. Follow all company procedures, customer procedures and the Highway Code
  5. Maintain all health and safety standards
  6. Complete all deliveries and collections
  7. Completing all relevant paperwork once the orders have been taken to the customer

What our client is looking for in a Class 2 Driver:

  1. Minimum of 2 years experience - ESSENTIAL
  2. Up to date CPC
  3. Full UK Driving License
  4. Valid Digital tacho
  5. No more than 6 points on license
  6. CSCS Card - ADVANTAGEOUS
