Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client a leading food manufacturer in their search for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work in their leading facility in Shropshire.

For the successful Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer our client is offering:

  • Up to £46,249 per annum DOE
  • 4 on 4 off shift system (2 days. 2 nights)
  • Permanent position

The Role - Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

  • Ensure that the machines are running with no issues
  • Electrical, instrumentation and mechanical maintenance 
  • Regular PPM, scheduled maintenance and improvement works
  • Liaise with the other engineers on the opposite shifts
  • Carry out autonomous breakdown tasks and preventative maintenance tasks competently
  • Maintain the PPM system
  • Updating company records on a daily basis
  • Conduct both Electrical and Mechanical fault finding and rectification
  • Being aware of production requirements and minimise downtime

What our client is looking for in a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

  • Previous experience in a similar role - ESSENTIAL
  • Previous experience with electrical fault finding - ESSENTIAL
  • 17th or 18th edition - ESSENTIAL
  • BTEC or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering as a bare minimum - ESSENTIAL
  • Previous experience within the food manufacturing or food packaging industry - ESSENTIAL
  • Due to the location of the site you MUST have your own transport.
